Daily Devotional

I wrote This Daily Devotional about Hekate, Dionysus, and Hera (there is a reason for this combination).

You can modify the deities you pray to using the same format as this.

Essentially, all I am doing in this prayer is recognizing specific epithets of each Deity.

The offering section can be utilized for any Deity or combination of them.

You could also recite the Orphic Hymns to the Deity or Deities you are praying to and then end with the offering prayers given here.

Facing the Altar with your hands out and palms upward

Hail Hekate, Daughter of Perses and Asteria,

You, who see in three directions,

Who rule over all thresholds,

And illuminate the way!

Hail Dionysus, son of Zeus and Semele.

First born of Zeus and Persephone,

Thrice born Bacchic Lord,

Holy Liberator!

Hail Hera, Daughter of Kronos and wife of Thundering Zeus.

Queen of High Olympus,

The wife of Zeus and Queen of the Gods,

You, the Goddess of Marriage!

Hail Hekate, Soul of the world,

Advocate and Queen of mystery.

Hail Dionysus, lord of the Mysteries,

Who gives the Aether of wine.

Hail Hera, Mother of all life,

And Hail Zeus, King Divine.

May I receive your Divine Blessings wherever I may go.

Hear my prayer and accept from me these offerings.

In the eyes of all the Gods, make me your adopted one.

Giving of Offerings

Elevate food offering

Accept from me, this food,

that you may shape the course of my life

with luminous light and make it

abundant with good things.

Deliver me from all sickness and evils.

Elevate wine offering

Accept from me, this wine,

that when my soul rages for worldly things,

that I may be delivered and purified.

Elevate incense offering

Accept from me, this incense,

that you may reveal to me,

the path of Divine Guidance and permit me to

gaze upon that precious light.

For when I am weary, bring me to the haven of piety with your winds.
