Echoes from the Temple

Welcome all, my name is Dion, and this is the Official Site for the YouTube Channel 'Echoes From The Temple.' This has become a passion of mine as it helps me to get information out and also acts as a method of holding myself accountable. This work originally began as a blog under the site name 'Echoes from Eternity' and has since turned into something more.

A little about me and who I am. I have been involved in and practicing the Occult in one form or another for more than 24 years at the time of publishing this website. I have also been practicing and observing my Hellenic beliefs for more than 14 years. For those who have found their way here because of their interest in magick and do not know what Hellenism is, Hellenism is the belief in and worship of the Gods and Goddesses of Ancient Greece.

During these 24 years, I initially practiced an eclectic form of Witchcraft and explored the Golden Dawn Tradition. I could never commit myself to the Golden Dawn Tradition due to its blend and use of Judeo-Christianity. This prevented me from moving farther in my spirituality until I was introduced to my long-time friend and mentor, Monte Plaisance. It was through Monte that I was introduced to the Greek Magical Papyri and the Church of Thessaly, which Monte had founded.

The Church of Thessaly was disbanded some years ago and I continued my studies and practices taking what I had been taught and going further. My goal was to create a tradition of Magickal and Spiritual practices that could last through the ages.

In 2019 a small building was purchased and became my dedicated Temple. It is a long-term goal of mine to see dedicated Temples and Communities spread across the Country and World.

This eventually led me to begin the Blog and then the YouTube Channel. The creation of the Echoes from the Temple YouTube channel eventually placed me directly back into the path of Monte, after having lost touch a few years prior. It was because of the YouTube Channel that Monte realized who I was (my actual name) and contacted me. The Church of Thessaly had been reformed and I found that what I had been striving to create was within the Church of Thessaly, which had evolved since its dismissal before.

Coming full circle I have found myself home within the Church of Thessaly. I hope this helps in explaining a little of who I am.
